Who are The Wooden Postcard Company?

We are the original creators of the colour-printed wooden postcard. Since 2012 we make and hand-print every product in our workshop in Suffolk, England. Trusted by The British Museum, MoMA New York, National Galleries Scotland and many museums worldwide, and loved by customers everywhere.

Can wooden postcards be mailed with a standard stamp?

Yes. Our wooden postcards are standard postcard size, lightweight at 20g, and meet both Royal Mail and USPS guidelines. No envelope needed, write with any pen and post with a standard stamp anywhere in the world.

Where are your products made?

Every product is made and hand-printed to order in our workshop in Suffolk, England.

Are your products sustainable?

We believe that beautiful things should also be sustainable, our wood comes from FSC and PEFC certified suppliers in sustainably managed European forests, our production is carbon-neutral, we use minimal recyclable packaging and we plant trees through our partnership with Ecologi. Our cards are fully recyclable.

Are wooden postcards durable?

Made with premium wood and printed with museum-grade UV-resistant inks, our wooden postcards are far more durable and fade-resistant than traditional cards. Our customers regularly frame, display and collect them.

Who creates the artwork?

We work with talented artists such as Matt Sewell, Stephen Millership, Pennychoo and Rocket68 amongst many, and collaborate with The British Museum, National Galleries Scotland, The Flower Fairies™, Medici Gallery and others.
